Are Conditions Right For D-Von Dudley To Return To Triple H’s WWE?
WWE

He has had a hall of fame career before he left the company, but are conditions right for D-Von Dudley to return to Triple H’s WWE?

More: D-Von Dudley Leaves WWE

Leading up to WrestleMania 40, a lot was said about a potential Dudley Boyz reunion and return to WWE. We did get a slight one, but not what we all might have wanted. Bubba Dudley served as the guest referee for one match over WrestleMania weeked. The ECW alum showing up made plenty of fans happy. He and partner D-Von were seen at the Hall of Fame ceremony as well, which was surely a show of support and respect for Paul Heyman.

Get the tables?

We’ve since seen both men work as part of the 2024 WWE Draft. So, could a Dudleyz return happen still? Maybe, but also maybe not how you’d think. We know that, due to some health issues, D-Von Dudley has basically been forced to retire. Or, we doubt he’d be cleared by WWE medical staff. But, we also know that for quite a bit, D-Von Dudley was working behind the scenes in WWE. That came to an end in early 2023, but it sounds like the WWE Hall of Famer might be getting an itch to return.

WWE

Speaking with What Culture Wrestling, D-Von was pretty open about things. When last with WWE, he was working under Vince McMahon. Needless to say, a lot has changed since he was last employed by WWE. With Triple H now running things as the company CCO, D-Von indicated that he would be open to a return to be a part of Hunter’s new era of WWE. Nothing was said to be imminent., but it is clear that things are on good terms. If they weren’t, it seems unlikely that we’d have seen him on the Hall of Fame ceremony and the subsequent WWE draft. Having D-Von Dudley return to WWE could be a welcomed addition.
