Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje delivered the kind of fight the “BMF” title was made for.
With Holloway in control of the bout at UFC 300, “Blessed” stood toe-to-toe with Gaethje for the final moments.
As the last seconds ticked away, it was Holloway catching Gaethje, dropping him straight to the canvas. With the win, the former champion become the new BMF holder.

The 32-year-old Holloway had already secured his place in the UFC history books. This win, though, positioned him as an all-time fighter.
“I’m him,” Holloway said. “I’m him. I am a gladiator. I don’t care, any weight.”
Along with giving Gaethje his props, Holloway asked for a double bonus.
“I want $600K,” he screamed. “Sign the checks.”
Holloway has now won three straight, finishing both Gaethje and Chan Sung Jung. His only losses since 2013 have come vs. Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier and Alexander Volkanovski.
Gaethje, meanwhile, had his two-fight win streak snapped. He won the BMF belt with a head-kick finish of Poirier in 2023.
UFC Legend Mark Coleman presented Holloway with the belt. Coleman has recovered from injuries sustained while saving his parents in a fire earlier this year.
